Autumn Decor for your Home!
Autumn is here! — it’s time to fill your home with the sights and scents of fall. The stores and internet are filled with beautiful inspiration, but there’s only one problem: You don’t have a ton of money to spend on fall decorating. Here are some great ways to decorate for fall and embrace autumn interior design trends on a budget.
Use fake pumpkins sprinkled in with real pumpkins for maximum impact and savings!!!
These bright balls of goodness are the ultimate sign that fall has arrived. They’re also pure joy for a budget decorator. In recent years, pumpkins have been painted, studded, and glittered. The use of artificial gourds gives you a wide selection of beautiful gourds and pumpkins to create your fall masterpieces! You can use them year after year! Now that’s a saving! Check out my blog on https://kc.milliondollarbranding.com/cool-decorating-with-pumpkins/ for more great inspiration!
Use burlap- the perfect fall fabric!
When ornamenting your house for fall, remember: Texture adds instant interest. Empty burlap coffee sacks can be purchased online for less than you’d spend on a coffee at Starbucks. Grab your scissors and get creative. Burlap can be snipped into triangles and strung up as a fall bunting banner, wrapped around a wine bottle for a chic hostess gift, or cut into strips and used as napkin ties or ribbon.
Use beautiful branches from the great outdoors
Go outside and look for beautiful branches to bring indoors. Look for those with great shapes and berries or acorns attached for ultimate cheap luxe! Arrange some branches from the trees in your yard in a tall vase. With or without leaves, the branches instantly bring the feeling of the season into your home. I love this idea!
Get some apples and pears in multiple colors from your local farmer’s market!
Place red and green apples and pears in a bowl or vase and voila! You instantly have a wonderful centerpiece or additional to your tablescape. Add cranberries and nuts in a clear vase with a votive candle on top. Fill a large wood bowl with apples or pears for an inexpensive fall centerpiece.
Light a candle – an old candle will do!
Light an autumn-inspired candle and snuggle up with a juicy new book and a steamy mug of tea.
Make a faux leaf wreath
Check out my beautiful fall wreath I made 6 years ago as a Christmas wreath and then simply added fall colors and transformed it into one of the prettiest fall wreath I’ve ever seen. Ok I’m a bit biased but so what! With some foam from the craft store and some faux leaves from the dollar store, you can make yourself a stunning fall wreath for the front door.
Bring out blankets & throws
Pull your coziest blankets and throws in warm fall colors out of your linen closet and drape them over the back of your sofa or chairs. Light a fire, and curl up on the couch to admire your fall decorating on a dime. The use of faux fur is a great way to decorate on the cheap! https://kc.milliondollarbranding.com/category/interior-design/ for all things interirior design!
When guests enter your home; the first space they see should be both beautiful and inviting. Elevate the seasonal feel of your entryway with a warm fall arrangement that is natural and elegant.
As always, live your best life and enjoy decorating your home for this season!
